FAQs

1.Will it hurt the Plant?
When used as directed, Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash will not harm living plant tissue. Similar to water, Dr. DoRight’s will magnify intense light and burn tissue if applied under direct light.

2.What is Dr. DoRight’s made from?
Our Plant Wash product is crafted from precise blending of plant and vegetable extracts from crops grown in North America. We disclose all ingredients that are used in Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash.

Water, Coconut Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Palm Oil, Lemon Grass Oil, Acetic Acid, Garlic Oil, Cedar Oil, Clove Oil, Peppermint Oil, Sodium Salt, Citric Acid, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Thyme Oil, Rosemary Oil

3. How close to harvest can Dr. DoRight’s be applied?
Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash can be applied up to one week before harvest, but only if your plants are very dirty. Dr. DoRight’s recommends stopping applications 2-3 weeks prior to harvest. As the plant starts to mature (3 weeks prior to harvest) it is important to follow up with an H2O rinse. As delicate plants start to mature, it is best to pay attention to the top and bottom of the leaves and limit direct exposure to the flowers. The best remedy is to apply early in the lifecycle and as often as possible

4.Can Dr. DoRight’s hurt people or animals?
Dr. DoRight’s is formulated with food-grade essential oils and will not adversely affect living tissue. It is strongly recommended to keep the product out of your eyes and avoid contact with sensitive skin. Some states require eye protection and gloves for application.

5. How long can the product stay on the plant?
The Plant Wash can dwell on the plant over night, if needed, but a rinse of water is needed prior to exposure to intense light.

6. The directions on Dr. DoRight’s say to first rinse the plant with water. Is this really necessary? What happens if I don’t “pre-rinse” the plant with water before I apply the Plant Wash?
Exposure to intense light can magnify the food-grade essential oils causing necrotic spots on the foliage. Dr. DoRight’s recommends a plain water rinse before intense light exposure, to ensure healthy lush growth. Water drops on top of foliage, exposed to intense light, can burn plant tissue.

7. What’s the best way to apply Dr. DoRight’s?
Using your sprayer of choice, saturate the entire plant, paying close attention to both the sides of the foliage, as well as the root zone in soil mediums. Be aware that intense light can magnify solution on the tops of the leaves.

8. How often should I use Dr. DoRight’s?
Depending on the severity of your problems and the health of the plant, the product can be used every third day. To keep your plants clean, the recommended usage of Dr. DoRight’s is at least once a week.

9. How much water should I mix with Dr. DoRight’s concentrate?
Water activates the Concentration. If a plant is very dirty, use at least 4 ounces of concentrate per gallon until plant start starts to get clean. Repeat every third day for the first week. The dosage can be cut in half for regular cleaning.
