Intro
You might call this the heart of our website and our products. Here we begin to explain the fascinating world of Colloidal Science and the amazing properties of the Colloidal Micelle.

Science Class
Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash utilizes the power of colloidal chemistry, a promising advance in environmental science. To understand Colloidal Chemistry, we need to think on a minute scale and look at the molecular structure of a micelle.

Here is a little review from high school science:

In those early years we all learn that “opposites attract”. It is one of the guiding principles behind how molecules interact. Remember playing with magnets as kids? There was always resistance trying to connect the positive side to each other. After you turned the magnets around, violá, they connect.

Colloidal Chemistry sets aside these basic principles from science class. Our proprietary manufacturing process creates a “colloidal micelle” where an attraction is created between “like poles” instead of the usual opposite poles (positive and negative). The chemistry works on the smallest of molecular scales. Our manufacturing technique creates a micelle that measures 2-4 nanometersto put that into perspective—one human hair is 80,000 nanometers in diameter.

By defying this basic principle of science and creating a unique force between both (+) and (+), and (-) and (-) poles, the micelle in Dr. DoRight’s create a force of their own. Micelle are unique because they are attracted to and repelled from water simultaneously. The positive pole is attracted to and bonds with water, forcing the water-repelling negative pole to the interior of the micelle.

The microscopic size of micelle enable it to penetrate and break up dirt and dust into millions of smaller particles and make them easier to clean. When the water/micelle solution comes in contact with the smaller particles, the water-repelling (hydrophobic) center of the micelle bonds to the similar hydrocarbon molecule (dirt is also hydrophobic) and encapsulates it in the tough exterior of the positive pole of the micelle.

Here at Dr. DoRight’s we fully appreciate how complex this chemistry is; fortunately, we also know how pleased you will be with the results.

By defying this basic principle of science and creating a unique force between both positive and positive, and negative and negative poles, the micelles in Dr. DoRight’s is a force of its’ own. They are attracted and repelled from water simultaneously. The positive pole is attracted and bonds to water, forcing the negative or hydrophobic (water repelling) pole to the interior of the micelle.

The extremely small size of the micelles disrupt the long, complex molecular chains of dirt, dust and pests and make them easier to clean.

The micelles disrupt the attraction of carbon particles to themselves. This results in the particle breaking up into millions of smaller, simpler molecules. These simpler molecules in turn bond to the center of the micelles and become “encapsulated” by the tough exterior of the micelle.

In Dr. DoRight’s, the action of a single micelle is multiplied by the billions when activated with water. The micelles have the ability to penetrate and wash away a multitude problems.
