Intro
You might call this the heart of our website. This is the place where we lay it all out for you and, we hope, give you a solid understanding of Colloidal Science and the amazing Colloidal Micelle—the tiny workhorses that make Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash so effective, yet so safe.
Colloidal Micelle Overview
The power of Dr. DoRight’s Plant Wash is derived from colloidal chemistry, a promising advance in environmental science. To understand Colloidal Chemistry, we need to think on a minuet scale and look at the molecular structure of micelle. Here is a little review from high school science:
You’ve heard the phrase “opposites attract”. It is one of the guiding principals behind how molecules interact. Do you remember playing with magnets as kids? You could never get the positive side to stay connected to the other positive side—there was always resistance. When you turned the magnets around, and viola(with accent) connected with each other even from an inch away.
Colloidal Chemistry sets aside that basic principle from our early science class. Our proprietary manufacturing process creates a “colloidal micelle” (pronunciation) in a sub-microscopic field. Attraction is created between “like poles” instead of the usual opposite poles (positive and negative). The chemistry works on the tiniest of molecular scales. Our micelles measure 2-4 nanometers- to put that into perspective
one human hair is 80,000 nanometers in diameter.

By defying this basic principle of science and creating a unique force between both positive and positive, and negative and negative poles, the micelles in Dr. DoRight’s is a force of its’ own. They are attracted and repelled from water simultaneously. The positive pole is attracted and bonds to water, forcing the negative or hydrophobic (water repelling) pole to the interior of the micelle.
The extremely small size of the micelles disrupt the long, complex molecular chains of dirt, dust and pests and make them easier to clean.

The micelles disrupt the attraction of carbon particles to themselves. This results in the particle breaking up into millions of smaller, simpler molecules. These simpler molecules in turn bond to the center of the micelles and become “encapsulated” by the tough exterior of the micelle.
In Dr. DoRight’s, the action of a single micelle is multiplied by the billions when activated with water. The micelles have the ability to penetrate and wash away a multitude problems.
Here at Dr. DoRight’s, we fully appreciate how complex this chemistry is; fortunately, we understand how pleased you will be with the results.
